Registration of Biocidal Products in Spain (disinfectants, insecticides, rodenticides, acaricidal, wood preservatives, algaecides…) for domestic, environmental and food industry use.

During the transitional period of application of application of Regulation 528/2012, biocidal products for domestic, enviromental use and those used in the fod industry, must be registered in Ministry of Health.

The biocidal products that must be registered are:

 

• Surface disinfectants.
• Environmental disinfectant products.
• Insecticidal products.
• Rodenticidal products.
• Environmental repellent products.
• Wood treatment products.
• Algaecidal and disinfectant products for swimming pool water.
• Products for the treatment of cooling towers (against Legionella pneumophilla).
