Registration of Biocides in Spain (disinfectants, insecticides, rodenticides…) for zoosanitary use (livestock and/or veterinary field). 

 

During the transitional period of application of Directive 98/8/EC and its amendments, biocidal products for use in the livestock sector or in the veterinary environment must be registered in front of the Ministry of Agriculture. The biocidal products that must be registered are:

• Surface disinfectants.
• Environmental disinfectant products.
• Insecticidal products.
• Rodenticidal products.
